Transition Packer for Seniors

Managed Moves is a unique, full service downsizing, moving and estate liquidation company that specializes in working with seniors moving into retirement communities in the Portland metro area.  

We are looking for professional, and patient individuals who are motivated by efficiently completing jobs. In other words, we are looking for people who can work carefully, but fast. 

This position takes:

• Customer service oriented, while focusing on the completion of the project
• Clear communication skills
• Physical fitness
• Can work independently or with a team
• The ability to transport packing materials to jobs

Our packers also unpack at the destination, completely setting up the new home in an organized fashion. Additional opportunities include estate clean out sorting/packing, internal moves and supervisory roles.  

Part time 15-35hrs/wk, beginning at $16-$17/hr. PTO
Packers start at $16 through training. The job increases to $17/hr when the packer has proven they are capable of working independently with clients. 30 day test period, 3 month review and annual reviews thereafter

This is not your typical moving position. 
Managed Moves is a growing moving company specializing in working with seniors moving into retirement communities. We are a small, family owned business. 

We are looking for solution oriented movers with great customer service.  
The ideal candidate has 2+ years professional moving experience. We are looking for someone with maturity, patience and problem solving skills to achieve a smooth transition for our clients on move day.  

Leadership experience and/or experience driving a 20' box truck is a plus. CDL is not required to drive our trucks.

Full Time or part time schedules available. 
Day of Operation: Monday - Saturday

Professional moving experience preferred. 
Experience driving a box truck, a plus.
Clean criminal background in last 5 years.
Clean MVR for drivers.
Reliable transportation
Smart phone

Starting $15-$19/HR with PTO, supplemental insurance available 
Pay is commensurate with skills and experience. 
Mover/Drivers are considered for driving after 30 days on the job. 
3 month review and semi annual thereafter
